Are you ready for AWR?

The Agency Workers Regulations 2010 will come into force on 1st October 2011. Is your business ready? What effect could it have on your business? What will be the extra cost burden?

These Regulations apply as much to hiring companies as they do to the supplying agency and it is therefore imperative that users of agency staff understand and are fully prepared for them. This seminar focuses on demystifying the new regulations and will help you plan your own response to the changes and talk to other businesses facing similar uncertainties..

The Regulations gives agency workers the right to the same pay and other working conditions as are enjoyed by a hirer’s own workers. The rights come into effect in two tranches, “day one rights” and after a period of 12 weeks on assignment. There are also enhanced rights for pregnant agency workers.

Our objective for the seminar is to identify the pitfalls as much as point out the right way to proceed, taking into account all the available information. To reserve your place Register & Pay today!

Speaker: Paul Chamberlain, Partner & Head of Employment at Brabners Chaffe Street Solicitors.
